I just started running. Can I join a training?
Yes! You can join our Monday and Thursday trainings. Our trainer Kees adjusts the training to the different levels of the participants.
Do you run for the full 1,5 hours?
No! We start with a proper warm-up before doing a couple of core exercises. Occasionally, we include a plyometric or sprinting exercise for an explosive change! There are regular breaks in-between exercises, and we always finish with a cooling down.
Where does your training take place?
- Winter: On Mondays and Tuesdays (advanced group) we gather in front of the Sports Center and run on campus, nearby roads or at the sports fields, all of which are properly lit. High visibility vests are provided by the Sports Center.
On Thursdays, we gather and train at the municipal track. - Summer: We gather at the Sports Center and train in Warandebos, the forest next to the university.
Can I become a member later in the semester?
Yes! You can become a member at any moment during the semester.
How do I sign up for training?
You book a training spot via the Sports Center app. If you don’t have a membership yet, you can get two free trials.
How advanced do I have to be to join the advanced group?
For women, you have to be able to run a 5km in 25 minutes.
For men, you have to be able to run a 5km in 22 minutes.
We advise you to try all levels training before joining the advanced group.
