File a Report

Within TSAV Parcival, we recognise the value of creating and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for all members. Should undesired behaviour occur, we encourage members to share their experiences and concerns to the association. There are multiple ways of doing so:
> Talking to a Confidential Contact Person
> Filing a report to the board
> Filing a formal complaint to the board or to the CCPs

Confidential Contact Person (CCP)
TSAV Parcival has two CCPs: Bram Meijer and Ilinca-Brianna Barna-Diaconescu, or just Bri. They can be contacted for any reason, but their primary focus is to listen and guide members into taking the decision that best suits them in the context of promoting a socially safe environment.
Please find the full extent of the CCP’s role and guidelines here

Report
A report can be submitted to the board. By submitting a report, the reporter indicates that they do not wish the board to impose immediate sanctions. Instead, the report serves as a notification, allowing the board to respond appropriately should the reported behaviour occur again.

If the board receives three independent reports concerning the same individual, this individual will be addressed by the board regarding their behaviour. In handling such situations, the preferences and wishes of the reporters will always be given priority. Exceptions may apply in cases of severe incidents.
Depending on the severity of the behaviour, the board may also decide to suspend the individual from participation in future association activities.

A report can be anonymised, meaning the reporter can choose whether the board can communicate their name to the reported should it be necessary.

Formal complaint
A formal complain can be submitted to either the board or to a CCP. Please note that a formal complaint can never be anonymised. By submitting a complaint, the reporter explicitly indicates that they wish for the board to impose sanctions.

If the complaint concerns a board member or the board as a whole, it must be addressed to the CCPs directly (and, hopefully soon, it could be addressed to the advisory council too, as CCPs cannot take disciplinary action).
